CyberAngels & SOC-UM Net Patrol
CyberAngels' Net Patrol is a group of highly skilled and highly motivated volunteers who virtually patrol the Internet looking for child pornography, stalkers, child predators, groups advocating child abuse and pedophilia, hate and bigotry sites and scam artists.
Together with SOC-UM, another well-respected child advocacy group, our Net Patrol will compile and update our KidsList of sites which, in our opinion, are harmful to children. The list will be made available without charge to law enforcement groups, and will be licensed to filtering and blocking software companies and website rating firms.
The Net Patrol (formerly called Chips 1, 2 and 3) will continue to work in a close alliance with law enforcement and other child advocacy groups around the world to help "clean up" the Internet.
They will also make their expertise available to law enforcement through their Net Patrol e-zine (a list serv dedicated to cyber-law enforcement), their E-Law Enforcement Newsletter, their monthly columns in local law enforcement publications and their participation in conferences and police academy training seminars around the United States.
If you're interested in learning more about our Net Patrol teams or volunteering to be a member of the Net Patrol, visit our Net Patrol page or drop us an e-mail.
