Law Enforcement
CyberAngels is known for its work over the years with its cooperation with law enforcement in locating online crimes and criminal content, such as child pornography, predators and stalkers, as well as helping train law enforcement about online search and investigation methods. Our Law enforcement professionals that provide resources and work with agencies in their area. They assist and instruct law enforcement officers in cybercrime investigations, such as tracking online pedophile material, hacking and/or cyber terrorism, cyber fraud, then providing education, information, and resources to law enforcement agencies for the purposes of effecting an arrest.
The U.S. Customs cybersmuggling Unit is arresting one online predator or child pornographer every other day in the US. Many of those cases involved our help, using our special knowledge of online harassment and crimes. CyberAngels has long aided law enforcement in finding sexual predators, child pornography, and other online criminal content and activities. We are very proud of our track record.
Net Education
Cyberangels offers a wide variety of online training classes on general internet knowledge, online security, safety and privacy. Our Net Classes teach our visitors everything they need to know, from Internet basics to building your own website to e-mail handling. Our Connect-Ed program provides Internet safety information to the public through online classes and published materials and speakers for schools and public libraries.
International Division
CyberAngels International division is responsible for translating safety information, tracking and sharing international laws regarding the Internet and cyberspace, including Internet safety and privacy, and providing help for the international community. CyberAngels has translators from many countries working together to translate safety information as well as letters from and to the international community.
Tactical Support
Mary Sliwa helps keep Internet safety in the minds of the public through media and Internet news channels. We also have a special team that is responsible for tracking news stories pertinent to the Internet safety causes, and sharing them with the public through our website. Yet another team helps to spread the word on Internet safety with ISP�s search engines, and major on-line portals.
Victim Support
Our victim support team is responsible for answering e-mails from people that are being stalked on-line. The victims are taught how to protect themselves and how to turn the predator in. These 'angels' are taught to deal with harassment/stalking on a case-by-case basis.
Internet Professionals
Our computer specialists provide assistance to those with virus and trojan problems, and assist those who are the victims of hackers. We help educate Internet users about SPAM and help ISP�s strengthen their AUP or TOS.
